Human Resources Officer

The Company would like to employ a Human Resources officer at the farm in Carletonville. 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the industrial relations function and ensuring compliance with legislation.

  • To evaluate, adapt and develop and implement structures, policies and procedures that will result in fair and consistent labour practices and ensure communication between management and employees.

  • To provide training and information to Management and supervisors.

  • To manage day-to-day HR issues

  • Ensure that labour disputes and grievances are minimised.

  • Promote innovative and continuous improvement in HR practices.

  • To advise management on the legislation.

  • To manage the disciplinary process, recruitment process, communication process and payroll process.

  • Ensure that the time-and-attendance function is managed effectively, as well as the control of leave forms. 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Relevant HR qualification

  • Five years of HR Generalist experience.

  • Computer literate with exposure to People 300 payroll system will be advantageous.

  • Excellent knowledge of Labour legislation and the CCMA rules and regulations.
