Human Resources Officer
The Company would like to employ a Human Resources officer at the farm in Carletonville.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the industrial relations function and ensuring compliance with legislation.
To evaluate, adapt and develop and implement structures, policies and procedures that will result in fair and consistent labour practices and ensure communication between management and employees.
To provide training and information to Management and supervisors.
To manage day-to-day HR issues
Ensure that labour disputes and grievances are minimised.
Promote innovative and continuous improvement in HR practices.
To advise management on the legislation.
To manage the disciplinary process, recruitment process, communication process and payroll process.
Ensure that the time-and-attendance function is managed effectively, as well as the control of leave forms.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Relevant HR qualification
Five years of HR Generalist experience.
Computer literate with exposure to People 300 payroll system will be advantageous.
Excellent knowledge of Labour legislation and the CCMA rules and regulations.
